Corinne is a yoga teacher and somatic movement therapist for youth and adults. Her teaching is influenced by her experience as a modern dancer, mindfulness and chakra meditation practitioner, and trauma healer. Within the space and structure of the Lineage model, Corinne is inspired to see her students learn to meet their sensations, thoughts, and emotions with curiosity, reflect on their experiences and actions, and communicate with kindness.
Outside of Lineage, Corinne teaches classes and workshops for individuals and groups in a wide range of settings, including a homeless LGBTQ Youth Emergency Shelter, NYCHA housing centers, and on the streets of Red Hook. She completed her yoga teacher training through Kula Yoga Project, and is certified in Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga with Jillian Pranksy. Corinne is also a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA), and a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator. She received her MFA in modern dance from the University of Utah, and is currently a graduate student in the Brooklyn College Masters in Mental Health Counseling program, and an apprentice in Karen Rose’s Art and Practice of Spiritual Herbalism training.
