DANIELA COLAIANNI POE
Daniela has extensive experience teaching trauma-informed mindfulness programs to young people in Italy and the United States. She has delivered Lineage programs in public schools and youth detention centers. Daniela is ever inspired by the innate wisdom, resilience, and resourcefulness of her students, as she witnesses them grow in self-knowledge and self-acceptance through mindfulness.
Daniela is also a Teacher Trainer for the School Yoga Project, leading trainings on mindful, trauma-informed practices for school staff. Her work in Italy, where she was born and raised, included bringing yoga and arts programs to vulnerable children and families, and working with teen refugees and immigrants in the youth shelter system. Daniela is a certified yoga teacher through the Himalayan Yoga Institute, and a graduate of multiple teacher trainings focused on children with special needs, early childhood education, and yoga for homeless and vulnerable youth. She holds a Masters Degree in Performing Arts from the University of Bologna, Italy.
