As Program Director of Lineage Project’s arts and mindfulness program at Horizon Juvenile Center, Rishauna infuses her social work and youth development experience with her deep passion for the arts. Rishauna is a licensed social worker with over a decade of experience in youth development, and a passion for facilitating and activating youth leadership, expression, and wellness. 

Rishauna coordinated a comprehensive gender-based violence prevention program in a NYC high school for eight years that included education, trauma-informed counseling, leadership, and movement-building. Additionally, she has worked on various community-based arts initiatives such as Word Up Community Bookshop and the annual Fleet Moves Dance Festival in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and she performs as a dancer. Rishauna holds a Masters degree from the Hunter College School of Social Work and a Bachelors degree in Dance Arts from the University of Michigan.
